Many aspiring web entrepreneurs become scared of competing in the search engines because of a false perception about competition. This false perception usually scares webmasters away from SEO all together.
I am here to tell you that there is probably not that much competition even in ultra competitive markets. I am also here to show you that achieving top rankings in ultra competitive markets is not hard to do... Well that's the purpose of SEO 20/20, The Master Plan and University 20/20.
When you really start drilling into the matter of competition for your niche you will quickly see that there is not nearly as much competition as you may think.
What I am about to show you will change your conventional thinking about competition and hopefully you will have a revelation in thinking just like I did the first time I was shown this.
I will not go into super detail about this but I want you to be aware of it.
Watch this tutorial video:
As you can see from the video there is not that much competition at all. As you saw from the video the relevance starts going down hill after the first 11 results.
What this basically means is that you could achieve a top 10 ranking for the key phrase "cheap car stereo" with relative ease using a silo website design coupled with articles that are on topic (using theme density) to beat the few competitors that there are.
If you conduct your own searches in Google you will find that there are really fewer than 50 competing pages, on average, even for highly competitive terms.
What all this basically means is that most webmasters DO NOT know anything about SEO or even basic SEO for that matter. Couple your new knowledge of SEO with this fact and you can easily see that gaining top 10 rankings for the keywords of your choice is a cake walk ... If you know what you're doing.
